DIY Cut Your Own Quilling Strips

Cut Your Own Quilling Paper

I am often asked what type of quilling paper I prefer to use. It really depends on the project. Find out why I would bother to cut my own, when I would use it, and how I store it in my latest YouTube video: https://youtu.be/Lq_oHsARmU0

  2. I have been quilling for many years and in the past have tried cutting my own paper. I usually ended up very frustrated. I absolutely love your idea to use the Cricut and thank you for providing the free SVG file. Your foam board storage box is a fantastic idea. I am going to attempt to make one.

  4. You can also use a paper shredder that doesn't cross cut. Simply insert a clean catch bag, run the desired paper through, and voila! Be sure to remove your strips and store properly so they don't get curled or bent in the basket

    1. Hi Chere, thanks for sharing your idea of making quilling strips. I tried doing that with my cutter, but the edges were rough and the strips were not very straight. Maybe my model of paper shredder wasn't a good one. Does yours produce good strips?
