In this video, you'll see how I make my S-Scrolls and coils open and airy. I prefer this dynamic shape over the traditional types of S-scrolls because it reminds me of a conch shell. It also fills spaces faster!
This time I decided to glue my letter on a 4.5 inch ivory colored square, then to a 5.5 inch square card, which I cut down from a sheet of 8.5x11 inch card stock (I have much more letter size inventory than scrapbook card on hand). Here's a free template if you'd like to do the same. Anyone who bought my Quilling Letters book can easily replace the letter by matching up the center and baselines.

Hello Cecilia, love your work. Thanks for the detailed explanation too. Do you have the pre-measured sheets for other alphabets.
ReplyDeleteHello Lenie, thank you so much! Yes, I have pre-measured sheets for the entire alphabet right here: https://paperzen.blogspot.com/p/quilling-letters.html
DeleteWhen I try to open the free template it says it is deleted. Is it possible to renew the link.

Are you clicking on a different link?

It doesn't work for me either. It says, "File is in the owner's trash." Boo hoo!
ReplyDeleteHi DonnaBee, I'm sorry, I'm not sure why it's not working, but I just tried to update the link again. If it still doesn't work, simply email me at paperzeninfo (at) gmail.com and I can just send it to you.
DeleteLink worked for me. I had to download the PDF to print. I watch you on YouTube and love the content 💕 I was wondering what I was going to do for Father’s Day and his last name initial came to mind. I also needed the gift to be something his wife would like and be willing to hang on the wall 🤣 I found perfection and will be making it soon!
ReplyDeleteThat's great! I'm glad my tutorials and patterns are helpful - thanks for making my day!
